Tours & Treats at
Smith-Appleby House Museums Colonial Holiday Open House Days in December &

Tours and
demonstrations featuring Colonial holiday history, traditions, decorations, and
even hearthside cooking and baked treats, are all part of the Holiday Open House
Days at the Smith-Appleby House Museum in Smithfield, RI, during December and

Hosted by
volunteer historians in Colonial costume, the events offer a festive opportunity

of Roger Williams original party of six men who left the Massachusetts Bay
Colony to settle in Providence. Expanded by later generations of the family to
12 rooms, today its one of only a few 17th century houses remaining
